EUR-Lex has a new Privacy Statement
EUR-Lex has updated its Privacy Statement in accordance with the new Data Protection Regulation for EU institutions and bodies (Regulation (EU) 2018/1725).
Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 brings the data protection rules for EU institutions and bodies into line with the standards the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) imposes on all other organisations and business across the EU. The rights of users (‘data subjects’) have been improved and clarified, there is now greater emphasis on transparency in the treatment of personal data and, where data processing is based on consent, the consent must be explicit, specific and revocable.
The new EUR-Lex privacy statement gives you detailed information on which data we process and how we do it and explains which rights you have with regard to that processing.
