DECISÃO DO CONSELHO
de 1 de Janeiro de 2007
que nomeia membros búlgaros e romenos do Comité Económico e Social Europeu
(2007/3/CE, Euratom)
O CONSELHO DA UNIÃO EUROPEIA,
Tendo em conta o Tratado que institui a Comunidade Europeia, nomeadamente o artigo 259.o,
Tendo em conta o Tratado que institui a Comunidade Europeia da Energia Atómica, nomeadamente o artigo 167.o,
Tendo em conta o Acto de Adesão da Bulgária e da Roménia, nomeadamente os artigos 12.o e 48.o,
Tendo em conta as propostas dos Governos da República da Bulgária e da Roménia,
Tendo em conta o parecer da Comissão,
Considerando o seguinte:

Os membros do Comité Económico e Social Europeu foram nomeados, para o período compreendido entre 21 de Setembro de 2006 e 20 de Setembro de 2010, pelas Decisões 2006/524/CE, Euratom (1), 2006/651/CE, Euratom (2) e 2006/703/CE, Euratom (3) do Conselho. |

Na sequência da adesão da República da Bulgária e da Roménia à União Europeia, é necessário completar o Comité Económico e Social Europeu com a nomeação de vinte e sete membros, representativos dos diversos sectores da vida económica e social da sociedade civil, |
DECIDE:
Artigo 1.o
São nomeados membros do Comité Económico e Social Europeu, para o período que decorre até 20 de Setembro de 2010, as pessoas cujos nomes e cargos constam das listas em anexo à presente decisão.
Artigo 2.o
A presente decisão produz efeitos no dia da sua aprovação.
A presente decisão é aplicável a partir de 1 de Janeiro de 2007.
Feito em Bruxelas, em 1 de Janeiro de 2007.
