Amended proposal for a European Parliament and Council Decision adopting an action programme for Community customs (Customs 2000) (95/C 327/12) (Text with EEA relevance) COM(95) 451 final - 95/0087(COD)

(Submitted by the Commission pursuant to Article 189a (2) of the EC Treaty on 6 October 1995)

The Commission's initial proposal of 4 April 1995 - COM(95) 119 final - is amended as follows:

Article 16, paragraph 1 (Financing) shall be worded as follows:

1. Without prejudice to those actions for which financial provision is made in the framework of other Community programmes, the total financial provision for the implementation of this programme, for the period running from 1 January 1996 to 31 December 2000, shall be fixed at ECU 50 million.
