BESCHIKKING VAN DE COMMISSIE
van 24 oktober 2007
tot wijziging van Beschikking 2005/393/EG wat betreft beperkingsgebieden in verband met bluetongue in Frankrijk, Duitsland, Oostenrijk, Portugal, Denemarken, Tsjechië en het Verenigd Koninkrijk

DE COMMISSIE VAN DE EUROPESE GEMEENSCHAPPEN,
Gelet op het Verdrag tot oprichting van de Europese Gemeenschap,
Gelet op Richtlijn 2000/75/EG van de Raad van 20 november 2000 tot vaststelling van specifieke bepalingen inzake de bestrijding en uitroeiing van bluetongue (1), en met name op artikel 8, lid 3,
Overwegende hetgeen volgt:

Richtlijn 2000/75/EG stelt controlevoorschriften en maatregelen vast ter bestrijding van bluetongue in de Gemeenschap, waaronder de instelling van beschermings- en toezichtsgebieden en een verbod op verplaatsingen van dieren uit die gebieden. |

(2) |
Beschikking 2005/393/EG van de Commissie van 23 mei 2005 inzake beschermings- en toezichtsgebieden in verband met bluetongue en de voorwaarden voor verplaatsingen uit of binnen deze gebieden (2) bakent de algemene geografische gebieden af waarin de lidstaten beschermings- en toezichtsgebieden („beperkingsgebieden”) in verband met bluetongue moeten instellen. |

(3) |
Op grond van een door Frankrijk en Duitsland ingediend met redenen omkleed verzoek moet de afbakening van het beperkingsgebied in de lidstaten in gebied F worden gewijzigd. |

(4) |
Na de uitbreiding van het beperkingsgebied in Duitsland als gevolg van de recente uitbraken van bluetongue serotype 8 moet een beperkingsgebied in Oostenrijk worden afgebakend en moet de afbakening van de beperkingsgebieden in Denemarken en Tsjechië in gebied F worden gewijzigd. |

Naar aanleiding van de melding van uitbraken van bluetongue serotype 1 en op grond van een door Portugal ingediend met redenen omkleed verzoek moet de afbakening van het beperkingsgebied E in bijlage I bij Beschikking 2005/393/EG worden gewijzigd en moet gebied I met de serotypes 1 en 4 worden gewijzigd. |

Naar aanleiding van de melding van uitbraken van bluetongue serotype 8 in het Verenigd Koninkrijk moet een beperkingsgebied worden afgebakend in deze lidstaat in gebied F. |

(7) |
Beschikking 2005/393/EG moet dienovereenkomstig worden gewijzigd. |

(8) |
De in deze beschikking vervatte maatregelen zijn in overeenstemming met het advies van het Permanent Comité voor de voedselketen en de diergezondheid, |
HEEFT DE VOLGENDE BESCHIKKING GEGEVEN:
Artikel 1
Bijlage I bij Beschikking 2005/393/EG wordt gewijzigd overeenkomstig de bijlage bij deze beschikking.
Artikel 2
Deze beschikking is gericht tot de lidstaten.
