BESCHLUSS DES RATES
vom 1. Januar 2007
zur Ernennung der bulgarischen und rumänischen Mitglieder des Europäischen Wirtschafts- und Sozialausschusses
(2007/3/EG, Euratom)
DER RAT DER EUROPÄISCHEN UNION —
gestützt auf den Vertrag zur Gründung der Europäischen Gemeinschaft, insbesondere auf Artikel 259,
gestützt auf den Vertrag zur Gründung der Europäischen Atomgemeinschaft, insbesondere auf Artikel 167,
gestützt auf die Akte über den Beitritt Bulgariens und Rumäniens, insbesondere auf die Artikel 12 und 48,
auf Vorschlag der Regierungen der Republik Bulgarien und Rumäniens,
nach Stellungnahme der Kommission,
in Erwägung nachstehender Gründe:

Die Mitglieder des Europäischen Wirtschafts- und Sozialausschusses sind mit den Beschlüssen 2006/524/EG, Euratom (1), 2006/651/EG, Euratom (2) und 2006/703/EG, Euratom (3) des Rates für den Zeitraum vom 21. September 2006 bis zum 20. September 2010 ernannt worden. |

Infolge des Beitritts der Republik Bulgarien und Rumäniens zur Europäischen Union sollte der Europäische Wirtschafts- und Sozialausschuss durch die Ernennung von 27 Mitgliedern ergänzt werden, die die verschiedenen wirtschaftlichen und sozialen Bereiche der organisierten Zivilgesellschaft vertreten — |
BESCHLIESST:
Artikel 1
Die Personen, die in den Listen im Anhang dieses Beschlusses aufgeführt sind, werden für die Zeit bis zum 20. September 2010 zu Mitgliedern des Europäischen Wirtschafts- und Sozialausschusses ernannt.
Artikel 2
Dieser Beschluss wird am Tag seiner Annahme wirksam.
Er gilt ab dem 1. Januar 2007.
Geschehen zu Brüssel am 1. Januar 2007.
