Common position adopted by the Council with a view to adopting a European Parliament and Council Directive amending, for the 17th time, Directive 76/769/EEC on the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States relating to restrictions on the marketing and use of certain substances and preparations (C4-0015/99 - 98/0005(COD))(Codecision procedure: second reading)

The common position was approved.

The Council was requested to adopt the act definitively as soon as possible in accordance with its common position.
