Annual expenditure planned under the scheme or overall amount of individual aid granted to the company: The total annual budget allocation is EUR 3 000 000
Maximum aid intensity: Aid amounting to 50 % of the eligible costs is provided. The investments do not involve an increase in the productive capacity of the Alpine summer pasture itself. EUR 10 000 is the minimum eligible cost per project covered by the scheme.
Date of implementation: From the date of publication of the registration number of the request for exemption on the website of the Commission’s Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development.
Duration of scheme or individual aid award: Until 31.12.2013
Objective of aid: Aid for investments within the meaning of Article 4 of Regulation (EC) No 1857/2006. Please note that aid in the following areas is excluded from this scheme:
aid for cheese production facilities (for which an exemption request will be made under Regulation (EC) No 800/2008),
aid for work to maintain meadows and farmland (this aid is being notified under Article 88(3) of the Treaty),
aid for the ‘wood — pasture regulation’ (the nature of these activities is being more clearly specified in a notification within the meaning of Article 88(3) of the Treaty),
aid for ‘other interventions, measures, work, actions to maintain the hydro-geological equilibrium of mountain areas’ (the nature of these activities being more clearly specified in a notification within the meaning of Article 88(3) of the Treaty),
aid for building forest roads (an exemption request for this type of action has been submitted under Regulation (EC) No 800/2008).

Objective of aid: Provision of poultry quality and health control services to poultry farmers and their organisations.
The eligible costs covered by the aid are the costs of self-checks carried out under the Poultry Health Plan established by Royal Decree 328/2003 of 14 March establishing and regulating the Poultry Health Plan; these are covered by Article 10 of Regulation (EC) No 1857/2006 (health checks granted in kind in the form of subsidised services).

training leading to the award of a trade qualification or certificate of competency as referred to in applicable legislation and for which the training element or skills updating element is of prime importance,
training to update or perfect subject-knowledge,
training with a view to acquiring adequate ‘occupational skill and competence’ as referred to in Community legislation and/or the certification referred to in Legislative Decree 99/2004 (professional farmer).
