Duration of scheme: Three years from the date of acknowledgement of receipt by the Commission (subject to the corresponding funds being available).

Objective and type of aid: The objective of this aid scheme is environmental protection, within the meaning of Article 4(3)(d) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1857/2006.

List of eligible agricultural equipment for environmental purposes:

Soil working equipment: plant shredders, rotating shredders, rotating mowers, hoes, weeders, decompactors, tooth and disc stubble cleaners and seeders to facilitate working the soil,

Equipment for adding organic material: compost spreaders, organic matter spreaders, manure spreaders, plant shredders and slurry vats equipped with spreader systems,

Grass working equipment: mowers, windrowers, haymakers, bale-wrappers, presses, windrow turners,

Containment equipment.

Eligible expenditure includes: the purchase of new agricultural machinery (with the exception of replacement machinery or machinery such as tractors or sprayers) and the construction, purchase or extension of premises used to carry out CUMA activities or to store equipment or machinery.

Sector(s) concerned: All the CUMA in the Moselle irrespective of what their members produce.

Other information: To ensure strict compliance with the limits laid down in Community regulations for each type of aid, the level of aid will, where necessary, be reduced to the amount contributed by other public financial backers.

Objective and type of aid: Within the meaning of Article 5 of Regulation (EC) No 1857/2006, the objective is to rehabilitate and reclaim land that is abandoned or areas that are not built upon so they can be used for agriculture, in the context of an overall land policy adopted at department level. These operations can take the form of widening a valley floor or clearing hill sides or piedmont for the purpose of reintroducing agriculture or grazing or to cultivate fruit trees.

Maximum aid intensity: Maximum aid rate of 80 % (100 % for young farmers), with an annual ceiling of EUR 450 for auditing activites (according to needs and depending on availability of funds).

Date of implementation: From the date of publication of the registration number for the request for exemption on the website of the Commission’s Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development and subject to the corresponding funds being available.

Duration of scheme: Three years from the date of acknowledgement of receipt by the Commission (subject to the corresponding funds being available).

Objective and type of aid: This aid scheme falls under Article 10 of Regulation (EC) No 1857/2006. The department will put in place an aid programme to provide farmers with health assistance for animal disease prevention (paratubercolosis, BVD, IBR and Q fever) and good practices to improve health conditions in livestock holdings.

The aim of this aid scheme is to encourage appropriate and efficient health monitoring by auditing animal health and well-being in holdings.

In the case of young farmers, the services proposed will be more comprehensive so as to allow them to adopt an appropriate and efficient health monitoring system from the very start.

The aid will be granted in the form of subsidised services available to all livestock farmers regardless of whether they belong to a producers′ organisation or another structure.
