II.   Objectives

The overarching objective of the grouping, in the context of cross-border cooperation, is to strengthen economic and social cohesion between its members.

2.

The specific objectives of the grouping, in the context of cross-border cooperation, are as follows:

(a)

joint preparation of cross-border regional development programmes (the implementation of which requires the approval of the EU and of the Member States), plans and projects; design, implementation and development of relevant projects;

(b)

development of tourism, and design, implementation and development of relevant projects, development of tourism infrastructure, joint marketing activities.
