Information concerning the entry into force of the renewal of the Agreement for scientific and technological cooperation between the European Community and the Federative Republic of Brazil

The renewal of the Agreement for scientific and technological cooperation between the European Community and the Federative Republic of Brazil, signed on 19 January 2004  (1) and renewed in 2012 (2) and 2017 (3) has, in accordance with Article XII thereof, entered into force on 18 July 2022. The renewal of the Agreement for a further period of 5 years, in accordance with Article XII(2) thereof, is effective as from 8 August 2022.
