DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 239/2019
of 27 September 2019
amending Annex XI (Electronic communication, audiovisual services and information society) to the EEA Agreement [2023/44]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:

Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/785 of 14 May 2019 on the harmonisation of radio spectrum for equipment using ultra-wideband technology in the Union and repealing Decision 2007/131/EC (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

(2) |
Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/785 repeals Commission Decision 2007/131/EC, which is incorporated into the EEA Agreement and which is consequently to be repealed under the EEA Agreement. |

(3) |
Annex XI to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The text of point 5cw (Commission Decision 2007/131/EC) of Annex XI to the EEA Agreement is replaced by the following:
‘ 32019 D 0785: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/785 of 14 May 2019 on the harmonisation of radio spectrum for equipment using ultra-wideband technology in the Union and repealing Decision 2007/131/EC (OJ L 127, 16.5.2019, p. 23).’
Article 2
The text of Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/785 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 28 September 2019, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1).
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
