- Initiative summary:
- The F-Gas Regulation is being aligned with the European Green Deal, the European Climate Law, recent international obligations on HFCs under the Montreal Protocol and progress made and lessons learned. Following this revision, it is necessary to revise several implementing acts, among them this act to introduce new types of refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump equipment for which there must be minimum requirements for Member States' certification and training programmes.
