que altera o Regulamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002 do Conselho relativo à aplicação do sistema de certificação do Processo de Kimberley para o comércio internacional de diamantes em bruto
A COMISSÃO DAS COMUNIDADES EUROPEIAS,
Tendo em conta o Tratado que institui a Comunidade Europeia,
Tendo em conta o Regulamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002 do Conselho, de 20 de Dezembro de 2002, relativo à aplicação do sistema de certificação do Processo de Kimberley para o comércio internacional de diamantes em bruto ( 1 ), nomeadamente o artigo 20.o,
Considerando o seguinte:|

O artigo 20.o do Regulamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002 prevê a possibilidade de alterar a lista de participantes no sistema de certificação do Processo de Kimberley apresentada no anexo II. |

Através do seu aviso de 20 de Outubro de 2006, a presidência do sistema de certificação do Processo de Kimberley decidiu acrescentar o Bangladesh à lista dos participantes a partir de 20 de Outubro de 2006. |

(3) |
A Bulgária informou a CE de que o Ministério das Finanças foi designado como a autoridade competente responsável pela aplicação do sistema de certificação do Processo de Kimberley. |

(4) |
Por conseguinte, o anexo II deve ser alterado em conformidade, |
ADOPTOU O PRESENTE REGULAMENTO:
Artigo 1.o
O Anexo II do Regulamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002 é substituído pelo texto do anexo do presente regulamento.
Artigo 2.o
O presente regulamento entra em vigor no dia seguinte ao da sua publicação no Jornal Oficial da União Europeia.
O presente regulamento é aplicável a partir de 20 de Outubro de 2006.
O presente regulamento é obrigatório em todos os seus elementos e directamente aplicável em todos os Estados-Membros.
