- Initiative summary:
- The European Disability Rights Strategy 2021-2030 will be the main tool to ensure the full social and economic inclusion of persons with disabilities in society free from discrimination and respect of their rights through implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and consolidation of the EU acquis. It will build on the 2010-2020 strategy, with targeted actions and through mainstreaming of disability rights into EU policy, programmes and instruments.
