- Initiative summary:
- This Communication assesses draft updated National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs) against the Energy Union ambitions, including by aggregating individual contributions on greenhouse gas emissions, renewable energy sources and energy efficiency targets. The individual assessments per Member State will be the basis for the aggregated assessment and will feed into the final plans to be published in 2024 and will reflect work on increased climate ambition for 2030 and 2050 climate neutrality.
