- Initiative summary:
- This act is necessary to implement the new European Green Bond Standard which establishes a registration and supervision system for external reviewers of such bonds at EU level. The European Securities and Markets Authority will be in charge of this system. The rules to be adopted will specify the procedure for the exercise of its power to impose fines or periodic penalty payments
