- Initiative summary:
- Article 8 of Regulation (EC) No 2111/2005 obliges the Commission to adopt detailed rules in respect of the procedures for updating the list of air carriers that are banned from operating or subject to operational restrictions within the Union. The Commission is now introducing rules on the “Conduct of non-commercial flights by air carriers subject to an operating ban” as well as on the exercise of the conditions for the exercise of the right of defence.
