Initiative summary:
This evaluation will provide a general view on how the existing Common Fisheries Policy Regulation, its instruments and measures are performing on the general objective of ensuring that fisheries and aquaculture are environmentally sustainable and managed in a way that is consistent with the objectives of achieving economic, social and employment benefits. Following the five evaluation criteria of Better Regulation. Specific attention will be paid to the coherence between fisheries legislation and other relevant EU legislation.
