The ecodesign and energy labelling working plan 2020-2024 will set priorities for the adoption of product specific implementing measures within this policy framework. The ecodesign and energy labelling framework has been one of the most effective policy instruments at EU level to promote energy efficiency, estimated to have contributed to around half of the energy savings target for 2020.
