List of designations of diplomas, certificates or other evidence of formal qualifications as general medical practitioner published in accordance with Article 41 of Council Directive 93/16/EEC as included in point 4 of Annex VII to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (97/C 90/11) Pursuant to Article 41 of Council Directive 93/16/EEC of 5 April 1993 on specific training in general medical practice (1) in conjunction with Article 5 (1) (a) of the Agreement between the EFTA States on the establishment of a Surveillance Authority and a Court of Justice, EFTA States are obliged to inform the EFTA Surveillance Authority of the measures taken to comply with the Directive. As soon as the EFTA Surveillance Authority has been notified, the Standing Committee of the EFTA States is required, pursuant to Article 41 in conjunction with Article 1 (1) (b) of Protocol 1 to the Agreement on a Standing Committee of the EFTA States, to publish an appropriate notice in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Communities, indicating the designations adopted by each EFTA State for the diplomas, certificates or other evidence of formal qualifications and, where appropriate, the professional titles in question.
