- Initiative summary:
- This new regulatory framework on European statistics on population will integrate demographic, migration and census topics, which are currently organised in several separate data collections of different periodicities and under different legal bases. The initiative aims to ensure that population statistics remain relevant, coherent and comparable in the face of demographic, migratory, social and economic changes in society.
