Samtlige den ændrede ordnings betingelser er i overensstemmelse med forordning nr. 800/2008, hvorefter godkendelse af ordningen ikke er fornøden (den oprindelige ordning hviler både på godkendelse og tidligere gruppefritagelsesforordning - forordning nr. 800/2008 udvider den omfattede aldersgruppe for indsatsen for unge efter 6 måneders ledighed, og bringer dermed Danmarks ordning i overensstemmelse med den nugældende gruppefritagelsesforordning og den oprindeligt godkendte ordning). Mulighed for indsats før 6 måneders ledighed i den gamle, godkendte løntilskudsordning (for personer med særlig risiko for langvarig ledighed) er udgået i den nugældende ordning, i overensstemmelse med betingelserne i forordning 800/2008.
