ASSENT No 40/82 given by the Council, pursuant to Article 54 (2) of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community, to enable the Commission to co-finance a coal-handling terminal in Jarrow, United Kingdom

In a letter dated 10 September 1982, the Commission of the European Communities requested the assent of the Council to enable it to co-finance a coal-handling terminal in Jarrow, United Kingdom, pursuant to Article 54 (2) of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community.

At its 797th meeting held on 25 and 26 October 1982, the Council gave its assent as requested by the Commission.
