Answer given by Mr Monti on behalf of the Commission (5 January 2000) No-one involved in the instruction of the case, from the responsible member of the Commission to the rapporteurs of the case in the Competition Directorate general, was given tickets by the comité français d'organisation de la coupe du monde de football 1998 (CFO) or the national football federations.
