Assent No 2/2002 given by the Council pursuant to Article 55(2)(c) of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community (2002/C 52/06) By letter dated 24 January 2002 the European Commission requested the Council's assent, pursuant to Article 55(2)(c) of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community, concerning a Commission Decision on the granting of financial aid for technical coal research projects. The Council gave the assent requested at its meeting on 18 February 2002.
