***** COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 2302/83 of 28 July 1983 fixing the yields of olives and olive oil for the 1982/83 marketing year THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, Having regard to Council Regulation No 136/66/EEC of 22 September 1966 on the establishment of a common organization of the market in oils and fats (1), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1413/82 (2), and in particular Article 5 (5) thereof, Whereas, for the purpose of granting production aid to olive-growers who are not members of a producers' organization, Article 11 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2959/82 (3) provides that yields of olives and olive oil should be fixed for each homogeneous production zone on the basis of information supplied by the producer Member States; Whereas, in view of the information received, it is appropriate to fix these yields as specified in the Annex hereto; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Management Committee for Oils and Fats, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION: Article 1 1. For the 1982/83 marketing year, yields of olives and olive oil and the relevant production zones shall be as specified in Annex I hereto. 2. The production zones are defined in Annex II. Article 2 This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities. This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States. Done at Brussels, 28 July 1983.
