DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE

No 105/2014

of 16 May 2014

amending Annex XXI (Statistics) to the EEA Agreement

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

(1)

Commission Regulation (EU) No 912/2013 of 23 September 2013 implementing Regulation (EC) No 452/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the production and development of statistics on education and lifelong learning, as regards statistics on education and training systems (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

(2)

Regulation (EU) No 912/2013 repeals Commission Regulation (EU) No 88/2011 (2), which is incorporated into the EEA Agreement and which is consequently to be repealed under the EEA Agreement.

(3)

Annex XXI to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The text of point 18wb (Commission Regulation (EU) No 88/2011) of Annex XXI to the EEA Agreement is replaced by the following:

‘ 32013 R 0912: Commission Regulation (EU) No 912/2013 of 23 September 2013 implementing Regulation (EC) No 452/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the production and development of statistics on education and lifelong learning, as regards statistics on education and training systems (OJ L 252, 24.9.2013, p. 5).’

Article 2

The texts of Regulation (EU) No 912/2013 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on 17 May 2014, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1).

Article 4

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
