- Initiative summary:
- The Regulation introduces technical adaptations to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1197 required by the changes introduced by the review of the statistical classification of products by activity. In addition, it lays down backcasting, double coding and reporting requirements for business and trade statistics, following the adoption of the revised classification of economic activities, NACE Revision 2.1, and potentially by the new classification of products by activity, aiming at addressing user needs.
