- Initiative summary:
- EU citizens can vote and stand in municipal elections in their country of residence, thanks to EU rules. Those rules needs to be reviewed to better face the issue of double voting, to address challenges relate to Brexit and to align provisions with rules on the right to vote in the European elections. This update will help supporting support broad and inclusive participation of mobile EU citizens in municipal elections in Europe.
