- Initiative summary:
- The Official Controls Regulation establishes the framework for official controls performed on animals and goods entering the EU via designated border control posts. Since the competent authorities of the border control posts must be able to plan and perform these controls in a timely and effective manner, this Implementing Regulation will establish a minimum timeframe for the prior notification of certain consignments entering the EU.
