Initiative summary:
The initiative aims to improve the EU regulatory environment for economic operators dealing with machinery while enhancing the level of safety, by taking into account the most recent innovation in digitisation. To this end, considerations will be given to the alignment to the whole set of EU harmonised legislation for health and safety of products, as well as addressing possible challenges stemming from technical progress in digitisation.
