- Initiative summary:
- Professional Qualifications Directive sets out EU-level minimum training conditions for a number of professions. These conditions are the basis for automatic recognition of qualifications for cross-border access to regulated professions in the EU. The Commission considers that it is necessary to update the minimum training conditions for nurses responsible for general care, dental practitioners and pharmacists and proposes to adopt a delegated act to this end.
