A4-0277/96 Decision on the proposal for a Council and Commission Decision on the conclusion of the Europe Agreement between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Slovenia, of the other part (10587/95 - COM(95)0341 - C4-0419/96 - 95/0191(AVC)) (Assent procedure) The European Parliament, - having regard to the proposal for a Council and Commission Decision, COM(95)0341 - 95/0191(AVC), - having regard to the Council's request for Parliament's assent pursuant to Article 238 of the EC Treaty in conjunction with Article 228(2), second sentence, and (3), second subparagraph, thereof (C4-0419/96), - having regard to Rule 90(7) of its Rules of Procedure, - having regard to the recommendation of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Security and Defence Policy and the opinions of the Committee on Research, Technological Development and Energy and the Committee on Transport and Tourism (A4-0277/96), 1. Gives its assent to conclusion of the Europe Agreement with Slovenia; 2. Instructs its President to forward this decision to the Council and Commission, and the governments and parliaments of the Member States and of the Republic of Slovenia.
