DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE
No 232/2017
of 15 December 2017
amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2019/1640]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:

Council Directive (EU) 2015/652 of 20 April 2015 laying down calculation methods and reporting requirements pursuant to Directive 98/70/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council relating to the quality of petrol and diesel fuels (1), as corrected by OJ L 129, 27.5.2015, p. 53, is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The following is inserted after point 6d (Commission Regulation (EU) No 1307/2014) of Chapter XVII of Annex II to the EEA Agreement:

32015 L 0652: Council Directive (EU) 2015/652 of 20 April 2015 laying down calculation methods and reporting requirements pursuant to Directive 98/70/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council relating to the quality of petrol and diesel fuels (OJ L 107, 25.4.2015, p. 26), as corrected by OJ L 129, 27.5.2015, p. 53. The provisions of the Directive, shall for the purposes of this Agreement be read with the following adaptation: References to other acts in the Directive shall apply to the extent and in the form that those acts are incorporated into this Agreement.’ |
Article 2
The text of Directive (EU) 2015/652, as corrected by OJ L 129, 27.5.2015, p. 53, in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 16 December 2017, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1).
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
