DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE
No 151/2007
of 7 December 2007
amending Annex I (Veterinary and phytosanitary matters) to the EEA Agreement
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as amended by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Agreement’, and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:
(1) |
Annex I to the Agreement was amended by Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 138/2007 of 26 October 2007 (1). |
(2) |
Commission Regulation (EC) No 496/2007 of 4 May 2007 amending Regulation (EC) No 600/2005 as regards the introduction of a maximum residue limit for the feed additive ‘Salinomax 120G’, belonging to the group of coccidiostats and other medicinal substances (2) is to be incorporated into the Agreement. |
(3) |
Commission Regulation (EC) No 497/2007 of 4 May 2007 concerning the authorisation of endo-1,4-beta-xylanase EC 3.2.1.8 (Safizym X) as a feed additive (3) is to be incorporated into the Agreement. |
(4) |
Commission Regulation (EC) No 500/2007 of 7 May 2007 amending Regulation (EC) No 1463/2004 as regards the introduction of a maximum residue limit for the feed additive ‘Sacox 120 microGranulate’, belonging to the group of coccidiostats and other medicinal substances (4) is to be incorporated into the Agreement. |
(5) |
Commission Regulation (EC) No 516/2007 of 10 May 2007 concerning the permanent authorisation of an additive in feedingstuffs (5) is to be incorporated into the Agreement. |
(6) |
Commission Regulation (EC) No 537/2007 of 15 May 2007 concerning the authorisation of the fermentation product of Aspergillus oryzae (NRRL 458) (Amaferm) as a feed additive (6) is to be incorporated into the Agreement. |
(7) |
This Decision is not to apply to Liechtenstein, |
HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1
Chapter II of Annex I to the Agreement shall be amended as follows:

the following indent shall be added in point 1zzb (Commission Regulation (EC) No 1463/2004):

the following indent shall be added in point 1zzj (Commission Regulation (EC) No 600/2005):

3) |
the following points shall be inserted after point 1zzzo (Commission Regulation (EC) No 244/2007):

Article 2
The texts of Regulations (EC) No 496/2007, (EC) No 497/2007, (EC) No 500/2007, (EC) No 516/2007 and (EC) No 537/2007 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 8 December 2007, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee (*1).
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
