- For the survey on information and communication technologies (ICT) usage and e-commerce in enterprises it is necessary to specify the variables, the measurement unit, the statistical population, the classifications and breakdowns and the data transmission deadline in order to produce data on ICT usage and e-commerce which is comparable and harmonised between Member States.
