Initiative summary:
The Directive on the resilience of critical entities ensures that services that are crucial for the maintenance of vital societal functions, economic activities, public health and safety, or the environment will be provided smoothly in the EU. The purpose of establishing this list of services is to help national authorities perform risk assessments and then identify the critical entities, which are public or private entities operating in key sectors.
