Initiative summary:
The evaluation is aimed to • see if the current legislation for Fishery statistics still fits its purpose, or whether it needs updating. • analyse how current Fishery statistics are used. • identify opportunities to decrease the burden on data collection systems. It will also serve to have a full view of new emerging needs on Fishery Statistics. The effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, coherence, EU added value and statistical quality will be assessed.
