THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
Having regard to Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 on genetically modified food and feed (1), and in particular to Article 9(2) and Article 21(2) thereof,
Whereas:

Bayer Agriculture BVBA, based in Belgium, is the representative of Monsanto Company, based in the United States, concerning 32 authorisations for the placing on the market of products containing, consisting of or produced from certain genetically modified organisms under Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003. The respective authorisations were granted by Commission Decisions 2009/813/EC (2), 2009/814/EC (3) and 2010/429/EU (4) and Commission Implementing Decisions 2012/82/EU (5), 2012/83/EU (6), 2012/347/EU (7), 2013/649/EU (8), (EU) 2015/683 (9), (EU) 2015/684 (10), (EU) 2015/685 (11), (EU) 2015/686 (12), (EU) 2015/687 (13), (EU) 2015/688 (14), (EU) 2015/689 (15), (EU) 2015/693 (16), (EU) 2015/695 (17), (EU) 2015/696 (18), (EU) 2015/700 (19), (EU) 2015/701 (20), (EU) 2015/2279 (21), (EU) 2015/2281 (22), (EU) 2016/1216 (23), (EU) 2016/1217 (24), (EU) 2017/1207 (25), (EU) 2018/1111 (26), (EU) 2018/2045 (27), (EU) 2018/2046, (28) (EU) 2019/1307 (29), (EU) 2019/1308 (30), (EU) 2019/1309 (31), (EU) 2019/2083 (32) and (EU) 2020/1360 (33). |

By letter dated 28 July 2020, Bayer Agriculture BVBA informed the Commission that Monsanto Company, United States, converts its legal form and changes its name to Bayer CropScience LP as of 1 August 2020. |

The proposed amendments to the authorisation decisions are purely administrative in nature and do not entail a new assessment of the products concerned. |
