Motivation: At this stage of the EFF programming period 2007–2013, it would be difficult to allocate the resources still available under Axis III (for which the Fruili-Venezia-Giulia region is responsible as the Intermediate Body) for collective measures, particularly following the selection of the Fruili-Venezia-Giulia Coastal Action Group (CAG) by means of a ranked call for tenders issued in June 2012. Indeed, following the implementation of Axis IV of the EFF and the approval of the CAG’s Local Development Plan and associated financing plan, almost all the resources still available under Axis III will be advertised, with preference given to the CAG.
