Pursuant to the second indent of Article 9(1)(a) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2658/87 (1), the explanatory notes to the Combined Nomenclature of the European Union (2) are hereby amended as follows:
On page 345:
8536 69 30
For printed circuits
The existing text and figures are replaced by the following:
‘This subheading covers plugs and sockets that are intended to be directly attached to a printed circuit board (PCB) or flexible printed circuit on at least one side of the plug or socket (see the examples below).
On page 346:
The explanatory note to CN code 8536 69 90 is deleted.
