Calls on the Commission to refer the matter to Parliament again if it replaces, substantially amends or intends to substantially amend its proposal; |

Instructs its President to forward its position to the Council, the Commission and the national parliaments. |

ANNEX TO THE LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION
Commission statement on the occasion of the adoption of Directive (EU) 2023/958 (1) of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Directive 2003/87/EC as regards aviation’s contribution to the Union’s economy-wide emission reduction target and the appropriate implementation of a global market-based measure
The Commission will publish data referred to in Article 14(6) of Directive 2003/87/EC from 2023 onwards in a user-friendly manner, including data at a higher level of aggregation where appropriate as set out in that paragraph.
