DECISION OF THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE MEMBER STATES of 2 June 1997 determining the seat of the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia (97/C 194/02) THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE MEMBER STATES, Having regard to Article 17 of Council Regulation (EC) No 1035/97 of 2 June 1997 establishing a European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia (1), Whereas it is necessary to determine the seat of the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia, HAVE DECIDED AS FOLLOWS: Article 1 The European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia shall have its seat in Vienna. Article 2 This Decision, which shall be published in the Official Journal ot the European Communities, shall enter into force on the same day as Council Regulation (EC) No 1035/97 of 2 June 1997 establishing a European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia.
