Initiative summary:
Regulation 2024/900 on the transparency and targeting of political advertising provides common transparency rules applicable to political advertising and specific rules applicable to targeting or ad-delivery techniques that involve the processing of personal data in the context of online political advertising. In particular, its Article 8(2) specifically mandates the Commission to draw up guidance to support the identification of political advertising.
