DURCHFÜHRUNGSVERORDNUNG (EU) Nr. 622/2013 DER KOMMISSION
vom 25. Juni 2013
zur Änderung der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 des Rates zur Umsetzung des Zertifikationssystems des Kimberley-Prozesses für den internationalen Handel mit Rohdiamanten
DIE EUROPÄISCHE KOMMISSION —
gestützt auf den Vertrag über die Arbeitsweise der Europäischen Union,
gestützt auf die Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 des Rates vom 20. Dezember 2002 zur Umsetzung des Zertifikationssystems des Kimberley-Prozesses für den internationalen Handel mit Rohdiamanten (1), insbesondere auf Artikel 20,
in Erwägung nachstehender Gründe:

In Anhang II der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 sind die Teilnehmer des Zertifikationssystems des Kimberley-Prozesses und die von ihnen ordnungsgemäß benannten zuständigen Behörden aufgeführt. |
|
(2) |
Am 23. Mai 2013 legte der Vorsitz des Kimberley-Prozesses einen Vermerk vor, in dem bestätigt wurde, dass die Teilnehmer des Kimberley-Prozesses im schriftlichen Verfahren beschlossen haben, keine Rohdiamantensendungen in die Zentralafrikanische Republik zu versenden oder aus der Zentralafrikanischen Republik zu empfangen, bis Klarheit über die Fähigkeit des Landes besteht, die Einhaltung des Mindeststandards des Kimberley-Prozesses zu gewährleisten. |

Anhang II der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 ist daher entsprechend zu ändern. |

(4) |
Die in dieser Verordnung vorgesehenen Maßnahmen entsprechen der Stellungnahme des in Artikel 22 der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 genannten Ausschusses. |
|
(5) |
Damit die Wirksamkeit der in dieser Verordnung vorgesehenen Maßnahmen gewährleistet ist, sollte diese Verordnung sofort in Kraft treten — |
HAT FOLGENDE VERORDNUNG ERLASSEN:
Artikel 1
Anhang II der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 erhält die Fassung des Anhangs der vorliegenden Verordnung.
Artikel 2
Diese Verordnung tritt am Tag ihrer Veröffentlichung im Amtsblatt der Europäischen Union in Kraft.
Diese Verordnung ist in allen ihren Teilen verbindlich und gilt unmittelbar in jedem Mitgliedstaat.
