Initiative summary:
This initiative will propose ways to update the EU industrial emissions legislation to ensure that industry best contributes to improving the EU’s environment. Its objective is that industry uses the most suitable techniques for a more sustainable EU economy and a cleaner environment that benefits the health of citizens. It will support the zero pollution ambition of the European Green Deal, as well as the EU energy, climate and circular economy policies.
