ASSENT No 3/97 (97/C 109/05)

In a letter of 5 February 1997 the European Commission requested the assent of the Council of the European Union, pursuant to Article 56 (2) (a) of the European Coal and Steel Community Treaty, to the granting of global loan No 682 (Générale de Banque).

The Council gave the requested assent at its 1996th meeting, on 24 March 1997.
