- Initiative summary:
- The objective of this revision of EU olive oil marketing standards is to bring them in line with the recently adopted changes to the International Olive Council Trade Standard for olive oils and olive pomace oils. This revision also provides for clarification with regard to the verification of organoleptic characteristics of olive oil and the sampling procedure for conformity checks.
