- Initiative summary:
- In the summer of 2022, the EU amended legislation on gas storage to ensure security of gas supply and the refilling of storage facilities. The Gas Storage Regulation set filling trajectories for Member States for 2022, but the respective trajectories and minimum intermediate filling targets for the following years must be set by the Commission by means of an Implementing Regulation.
