ASSENT No 12/73 given by the Council pursuant to Article 56 (2) (a) of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community to enable the Commission to grant a maximum loan of FF 8 million to the Société de Panneaux de Particules du Morvan, Neuilly (France)

In a letter dated 26 October 1973, the Commission, pursuant to Article 56 (2) (a) of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community, requested the assent of the Council to enable it to grant a maximum loan of FF 8 million (approximately 1 744 million units of account EMA), or its exchange value, to the Société de Panneaux de Particules du Morvan, Neuilly, to assist in setting up a plant for manufacturing panels formed from wood particles at La Machine, commune of Champvert (Nièvre).

At its 271st meeting, held on 17 December 1973, the Council gave its assent as requested by the Commission.
